LBM Office Solutions was founded in 1958 and opened at 1105 Church Street in Lynchburg. The focus of LBM Office Solutions was on providing local area businesses with quality typewriter and adding machine sales, supplies and service. Dave Stinnett came to LBM Office Solutions in 1975 and became the owner in 1982. During this same year, LBM Office Solutions offered copiers and electronic typewriters to the local business community.

LBM Office Solutions incorporated in 1985 and became an authorized Gestetner Dealer for copiers, facsimiles, printers and copy printers. Moving to larger facilities at 105 Oakley Avenue in 1993, LBM Office Solutions today serves a diverse business base with offices in Lynchburg, Roanoke and Staunton, offering copier, fax, calculator, printer, and typewriter equipment sales, rentals, leasing, supplies and service. The Neopost line of inserters, postage meters and mail-handling equipment was added to our product line in 2004.
